    Printing a 4×6 sheet

The print sheet fits as many copies as possible onto a standard 4 × 6 inch photo print, with light lines to cut along. Upload it to any photo printing service or kiosk and order a regular 4×6 print at actual size, without cropping or "fit to page". A 4×6 print usually costs much less than a passport photo service.

    Check the official rules

This tool gets the size right, but it can't check everything an official will. Each country sets its own rules for head size, background, expression, glasses and how recent the photo is. The oval guide is approximate. Before you print, compare your photo with the official guidance:

    • United States: the U.S. Department of State's passport photo requirements
    • Canada: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's passport photo specifications
    • United Kingdom: GOV.UK passport photo rules (online applications usually need a digital photo instead)
